To celebrate this coming weekend’s re-release of Kiki’s Delivery Service on big screens throughout the US on July 23rd (dubbed) and 24th (subtitled), GeekDad is offering three of our readers the chance to win a code redeemable for one pair (i.e. two) of tickets to the film at your favorite Fathom Events participating theater. Simply follow the instructions in the box below–good luck!

The Fine Print:
- Giveaway prize must be redeemed at a Fathom Events-participating theater. Before entering, I recommend you check Fathom’s website to see if there’s a participating theater near you.
- Giveaway winners will be selected by Thursday, 20 July 2017 and notified via email.
- Giveaway winners (of which there will be three total) will each receive one code redeemable through the Fathom Events website for purchasing two tickets to Kiki’s Delivery Service.
Kiki!!! This is what I watch on sick days to feel better.
So many favorites… Kiki is definitely one, but it’s tough to beat my children’s attachment to Totoro.

WOW! Such a tough decision! Kiki is an awesome character but I would honestly say Chihiro (Spirited Away) would be my favorite. She is such a strong and willful character, very much like Kiki!

Kiki was the first Ghibli movie that my kids discovered but we love them all.
I love Mei from MNT. She reminds me of my youngest.
Totoro is an obvious choice, but the kodamas from Mononoke are pretty rad, too.
I love Kiki but I will have to say my favorite character is San from Princess Mononoke! I love the villain Lady Eboshi as well – both are fierce, fearless, and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals. They just happen to have opposite beliefs and values from one another. I would venture to say that Princess Mononoke has some of the strongest female characters out of all Miyazaki films, and I truly admire them, although I love the younger characters like Kiki and Chihiro as well 🙂
