As GeekDad announced last week, we are excited about Studio Ghibli Fest 2017, which starts on June 25th and 26th. GKIDS Films and Fathom Events are proud to present six of Hiyao Miyazaki’s cherish animated films, one per month from June through November 2017. To celebrate this coming weekend’s re-release of My Neighbor Totoro on the big screen throughout the US, GeekDad is offering three of our readers the chance to win a code redeemable for one pair (i.e. two) of tickets to the film at your favorite Fathom Events participating theater. The Fine Print:
- Giveaway prize must be redeemed at a Fathom Events-participating theater. Before entering, I recommend you check Fathom’s website to see if there’s a participating theater near you.
- Giveaway winners will be selected by Friday, 23 June 2017 and notified via email.
- Giveaway winners (of which there will be three total) will each receive one code redeemable through the Fathom Events website for purchasing two tickets to My Neighbor Totoro.
With as much as I’ve been watching it with my daughter lately, I think Ponyo might be my favorite of the films.
My Neighbor Totoro is my favorite because my son loves it so much!
The kids love Ponyo, but I really like Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle.
I like them all, but Princess Mononoke is my favorite. 🙂

I watched a pirated copy of Tonari no Totoro on VHS, in Japanese, when it first came out. It was love at first sight . . .

It is very difficult to pick my favorite. My wife and I have talked about this several times. I always end up choosing Spirited Away and for her it’s My Neighbor Totoro. I hope to win this for her! Thanks!
