Blade Runner 2049 – The first, full trailer for the the Blade Runner sequel is absolutely stunning! Ridley Scott passes directing duties over to the very capable hands of Denis Villeneuve (Arrival) for this sequel, which is due out on 10/6.
Dunkirk – The second trailer for Christopher Nolan’s war epic is nothing short of amazing–something we’ve come to expect from every new Nolan film. Nolan is a master of utilizing cinematic space, so be sure and see Dunkirk on the big-screen, in one of its special engagements in 70mm, 35mm, or IMAX if possible, when it opens on July 21st.
It – The ’80s vibe of this frightening remake on display in its second trailer looks spot-on and pitch perfect (and perhaps Stranger Things inspired). Horror remakes are usually something I avoid, but this one looks like a terrifying can’t miss! It opens on September 8th.
The Big Sick – Written by Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley) and his wife Emily V. Gordon, The Big Sick is a fictionalized account of their real life courtship with Zoe Kazan playing the role of Gordon and Nanjiani playing himself. This Sundance darling will be released on June 23rd.

War Machine – Brad Pitt stars in this satirical and timely take on a “fictionalized” US General, and adds another notch in Netflix’s slow creep towards film industry dominance. This Netflix original film is due to hit the streaming service on May 26th.
The Mist – Clearly, this is a gory take on the Stephen King horror novella. Let’s hope it doesn’t end as bleakly as the 2007 film adaptation. The Mist premieres on Spike on June 22nd.
Orange is the New Black – Judging from the first full trailer for the new season, the return of Orange is the New Black looks tense, emotional, and politically charged. Netflix’s most popular series returns for its fifth season on June 9th.
