Originally unveiled just in time for #PokemonDay back in February, the Pokémon Center’s Gallery Figures Collection puts a nice slant on the admittedly crowded Pocket Monster toy market. Each collectible figure is exquisitely sculpted and boasts a Pokémon performing its signature move.

Late last month, four exciting new entries were added to the product line. Now—joining originals Eevee, Mew, Pikachu, and Magikarp—you’ll also find Jigglypuff, Vulpix, Cubone, and Psyduck.

Fan-favorite Jigglypuff’s “Sing” features multicolor, pastel musical notes, and Cubone’s “Bone Club” shows dynamically shattering rocks. While Vuplix’s “Fire Spin” is a little monochromatic for my taste, my daughter, a dedicated Vulpix/Ninetales fan, certainly has no complaints.

For me, though, the clear winner is the noble Psyduck. Even executing “Confusion” amid a flurry or debris and psychic energy, his weird, vacant stare still remains unchanged. And unsettling.

Each figurine is available now from PokemonCenter.com for a price of $16.99. They’re clearly meant to be displayed out in the open so that their delicate curves and bright colors can be properly appreciated, but the coordinated display boxes ensure they look smart even if you elect to keep your pretties in full mint condition.
