Do you have a little robot lover at home? I sure do! My 5-year-old loves robots! Today, I’d like to share his new favorite book: Brobot Bedtime by Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen.
Brobot Bedtime, written by Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen and illustrated by Scott Campbell, is an adorable bedtime story for the robot fans in your life. In this story, Buzz and Crash have no difficulty going to bed but Beep struggles with a case of the flick-ups. Buzz and Crash work to cure Beep’s flick-ups. Adventure ensues as the three brobots work to find a good night’s sleep.
The best part about this book? It’s a fantastic read aloud. If you read with a robot voice, your children will be in fits of giggles. Brobot Bedtime will not only delight your robot fan but also teach your child the basics of good sleep hygiene. This would also make a great read aloud for the reluctant sleeper in your life and is sure to be a great conversation starter.
This hilarious book will have your robot lovers giggling… and belly laughs are the best!
Our homeschool routine is based upon carefully selected, high-quality educational games and fantastic read-alouds. Every morning in our homeschool, we enjoy a tradition called Coffee and Books, and then later in the day, I attempt to pair our morning read alouds with educational games.
Coffee and Books was an unplanned, unexpected tradition, but one that has made a huge impact on our homeschool. I love to share our Coffee and Books on Instagram and recently created a free 5-day Coffee and Books series. My hope is that the Coffee and Books series improves your morning routine. I hope that it makes your homeschool day a little bit easier, that you build a morning connection that lasts throughout the day.
