Review: April Marvel Collector’s Corps Box Has Groot

Reviews Toys

It’s time to take a look at the latest Marvel-themed box from Funko! This month, the focus is on Guardians of the Galaxy. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but there’s a movie coming out.

Unfortunately, this is the first Funko Box I had any real disappointment with. Don’t get me wrong, some of the elements are great…

The pins are basic, but love that Gamora is front and center.

The stupid review camera I am using blurred this adorable Dorbz Starlord/Milano, but it’s swell, and my son loved it.

Not gonna lie, the stubble on Funko Starlord on the shirt is amazing. BUT…now to the things I didn’t love.

This cover, which is just amazing, is on a pretty controversial comic, and not one that even features Rocket and Groot much. It would have made so much more sense to use April’s final issue of the current Guardians of the Galaxy run.

But that’s not my real reason for being disappointed, you see, I came her for Baby Groot, and I got…

OMG, right? BABY GROOT AND ROCKET! And they’re both bobble heads, so cool, right? I was so excited.

Except they cannot stand. No stand was included either. I have to prop them up and that’s a pain and… oh… lookit them move.

I can’t stay mad at you, Baby Groot.

Note: I am Groot.
