Well, you do point out possible problems on one of the cables offered. It certainly looks like they’ve had some QC issues with those (Apple certified) Lightening Cables (about 1 in 10 of the reviews are negative, some mentioning heating and melting). Of course, the overall Daily Deal is about all of the Amazon Basics cables, most of which don’t carry significant power, and don’t run any risk of such problems.
