Education Games GeekMom

As a homeschooling mom to three busy little children, I rely heavily on games as a way to practice skills and have fun. When I heard about ThinkFun’s Spin-a-Roo, I had to check it out! I am always on the hunt for games that work on those all-important math and STEM skills!

Spark an Interest in Math with Spin-a-Roo!

My three kiddos (ages 8, 7, and 5) loved this game. My oldest compared this game to the classic UNO, but with a spin! They love how interactive it is and the double-sided playing cards extend the learning and fun.

Spin-a-Roo is a fast-paced counting and sorting game for children ages 4 and up. Spin-a-Roo offers young learners two ways to play: by sorting numbers and colors, or by counting up and down from one to ten.

Players take turns cranking the spinner to dispense tokens and then all players rush to collect the most tokens. Spin-a-Roo reinforces early math skills in addition to critical STEM skills.
