Play Nintendo Switch on Your TV Without Docking

Seemingly second only to Joy-Con connection issues–which I haven’t yet encountered–the biggest concern from Nintendo Switch owners appears to be the potential for the system dock to scratch the Switch itself–which I also haven’t encountered. But, hey. maybe I’m just lucky!

If you’re presently living in fear of marring your shiny new console by continually sliding it into and out of your Switch Dock, there appears to be a simple solution. (I mean, aside from buying a screen protector.) All you need is this helpful Hori Compact Playstand, a USB Type-C extension cable, and a little patience. The Switch It Up YouTube channel even walks you through the setup process:
