Trailer Alert! The First Real Look At Disney’s New Ducktales

I could write a whole long thing about the importance of Disney’s Ducks to my childhood and adult life, but let’s face it, you came here for one reason only, to see the new trailer:

Omigosh.

Words fail for how much I love this so far. Aspects of tone matches the work of Scrooge’s creator, Carl Barks, and the line “tougher than the toughies and smarter than the smarties” is right out of The Life And Times Of Scrooge McDuck by Don Rosa. David Tennant’s Scrooge is just perfect, too.

I can’t wait to watch this. Of course, I have no idea when it’ll out, but oh my gosh.

I’m gonna go watch that six more times.
