The LEGO Batman Movie is a spin-off of the hit The LEGO Movie, where, let’s face it, Batman basically stole the show. This movie is directed by Chris McKay, with a screenplay by Seth Grahame-Smith, Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, and Jared Stern & John Whittington, with the story by Seth Grahame-Smith. Batman was created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane.

The voice cast features Will Arnett as Batman, Zach Galifianakis as the Joker, Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl/Barbara Gordon, Jenny Slate as Harley Quinn, Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face, and Ralph Fiennes as Alfred. The movie says the plot is about Batman learning to work well with others, but that seems quite a high bar for this Batman. I remain skeptical that he’ll learn anything. But I bet it will be fun to watch him try.
