re-rollHere are the latest announcements and stories that caught our eyes this week:

  • Fantasy Flight released New Angeles this week, a sci-fi bluffing and negotiation game with area control for 4-6.
  • Cool Mini Or Not announced that they would be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s (HKEX) Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) beginning December 2, 2016. Does this mean they have graduated from crowdfunding?
  • As Mythic Battles ends its Kickstarter, Conan finally hit shelves this past week.
  • Asmodee also announced Kharnage, a fast-paced tactical card game that pits dwarves, orcs, goblins, and humans all trying to control the same hilltop, coming Q1.
  • Element, the abstract strategy game from Rather Dashing now has a street date: March 1.
  • Vast, a GeekDad favorite, is currently on Kickstarter with a second printing and a couple of upgrade packages if you already have the game.
  • Rumor is that we should see Uwe Rosenberg’s Cottage Garden stateside again before the end of the year.
  • Tabletopia, the virtual game table is currently free-to-play on Steam. There are more than 300 games, from Alien Frontiers to Zooloretto, just waiting to be played.
  • Wiz Kids announced the pending release of their D&D Icons of the Realms, Monster Menagerie II. Pre-order and you have the opportunity to buy the Adventurer’s Camp, which is really cool looking.
  • Now through next Wednesday, save up to 49% on ten different Blue Orange games at Amazon.
  • With Mysterium and Potion Explosion on their way to a digital tabletop, Colt Express became available this week on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam.
