Turns out you don’t have to have cable or satellite TV hookups to get some good science fiction TV and movies. There’s actually a broadcast TV network available in most of the US markets that’s carrying some good programming. The network is called Comet TV, and they’ve bought space on the digital broadcast spectrum at channel 38.4. Here’s an idea as to what’s running right now:
It’s a pretty fun mix of older and more recent stuff. As you can see, they’re playing some B5, and Stargate: Atlantis is starting up soon (we all need our David Hewlett fix!). Check out the schedule here, and see if you can get it in your area.
