Get Ready to Travel to ‘Westworld’ With ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’

Just last Sunday, while watching the recent episode of HBO’s incredible new series, Westworld, I remarked how the show is altering my perception of playing one of my all time favorite video games: Red Dead Redemption. The show, about a group of artificial beings in a Western setting who are under the control of storytellers and “guests,” is a lot like the game, in which players control characters in a Western setting. My question was: could I play this game again without the preposterous guilt of wondering if I’m pulling the strings of near-sentient beings?

Well, it turns out I’ll be able to answer that question next Fall, when Rockstar Games releases the hotly anticipated, just announced sequel to the classic game. Red Dead Redemption 2 is upon us! The first teaser for the game dropped on Thursday, and it promises a visually stunning, sandbox Western setting and a new online multiplayer experience. Check it out…

Red Dead Redemption 2 will release in Fall 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
