Eye of the Beholder promises an exploration of the history, influence, and stories behind the artwork that has helped create the worlds where so many of us have played for the past four decades. Interviews with D&D artists from all eras of the game have gone into the project, along with insight and recollections from TSR insiders, game designers, authors, and fans.
Co-producer Brian Stillman – a long-time gamer whose last documentary was the nostalgia-inducing and GeekDad-approved Plastic Galaxy: The Story of Star Wars Toys – has teamed up with Kelley Slagle and Seth Polansky (Cavegirl Productions, Of Dice and Men) for this one, which is scheduled for a release in 2017.
