It looks like Niantic’s Pokémon GO has caught the Halloween Spirit. Beginning this week—running Wednesday, October 26 through Tuesday, November 1—Trainers should notice an increase in encounters with Ghost-types Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar, as well as other spooky creatures like Hypno, Drowzee, Zubat, and Golbat.

On top of that, Pokémon GO will also be serving up more candy than ever. During this event, every Pokémon caught will earn you six Candies (as opposed to the normal 3), and you’ll pick up two Candies (instead of one) for every transferred Pokémon. Best of all, your Buddy Pokémon will see a fourfold increase in Candy rewards!

Check out the video below and the official Pokémon GO blog for more details. (Oh, and keep an eye on Amazon, as Pokémon GO Plus units have come back in-stock several times over the past couple of weeks.)
