Kickstarter announced today that it will host its first-ever games festival later this month, on Saturday, October 29. Visitors to the Halloween-themed “Ghost Arcade” will be invited to play a variety of Kickstarter-funded video and tabletop games with the people who created them. The festival, which will be free and open to the public, is happening at BRIC House in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, on Saturday October 29  from 11am to 7pm. The event is free and open to all —no tickets needed — and costumes are strongly encouraged.

To celebrate the mind-bending creativity of its games community, Kickstarter has invited some of its favorite independent game designers to share their work at the Ghost Arcade. There will be 19 video and tabletop games in the lineup, including Super Russian Roulette, Guns of Icarus, and Empire: The Game of New York. The full lineup and more details on the Kickstarter Games Festival: Ghost Arcade are available at http://kickstarter.events/.
