Virtual Mobile Theater? Royole Moon

A company famous for creating the world’s thinnest full-color flexible display (with a rolling radius of 1mm!) has now introduced a complete head-mounted mobile theater–one capable of simulating a giant 800-inch screen with high-fidelity sound. The Moon from Royole features a minimal, elegant folding design in three palettes (white, black, and gold) and leather ear cups.

The hardware of the Royole Moon is built around a proprietary optical system that can display both 2D and 3D visuals from many sources, including smartphones, tablets, consoles, (and more) or its own internal storage. Incredibly, the embedded optical power switch allows users who wear prescription glasses to enjoy the experience without needing to wear them while using the Moon.

The Moon virtual mobile theater runs an open operating system designed just for the device, giving users the ability to install gaming and video apps of their choosing without restrictions. The open software can stream videos, movies, and games in addition to multiple video extension interfaces.
