‘Storks”s Screening Invite Plus Giveaway!

GeekMom TV and Movies

Good morning. We have two possible ways to win with Storks, the new animated film, for you on GeekMom.

First, for Connecticut residents, click here for your chance to download passes to the advance screening of Storks on Monday, September 19th at 6pm at Bow Tie Palace in Hartford.  Seating is first come, first served and not guaranteed so please arrive early!

The second is a Storks prize package giveaway. See the entry form at the bottom of the post.

Storks is from the same production team involved with The Lego Movie.

From the movie’s description:
When a rogue stork, Junior, and orphan girl, Tulip, team up, trouble ensues – they must ensure that their adorable and wholly unauthorized baby girl gets to her new family. On their adventure the two quickly realize there are more important things than being the “Top Stork” in a company – like family – and also doing everything you can not to wake a baby.

The part I noticed in that description and in the trailer? That the lead character of the movie is a girl, which is always nice to see.

Storks stars Andy Samberg, Kelsey Grammer, Katie Crown, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Jennifer Aniston,Ty Burrell, and Danny Trejo.

And the giveaway! Note: t-shirt is a youth, size medium. Note: For U.S. residents only.

  1. My oldest is only 2.5! She’s been once, to see Finding Dory. I don’t know how often we’ll be able to go as a family, though. It gets pricey.

  2. Once in a while when she sees something she really wants to see. Only twice so far this year.

  3. Mine rarely get to go, because we have 2 younger kids that really can’t sit still long enough, but we LOVE to watch movies at home! I’ve seen this one advertised and it looks SO cute! With 4 girls it is always nice to see movies with female leads!

  4. We go more in the summer for the $1 movies. The rest of the year we may see 1 or 2 movies. They are pretty young still. It is hard to sit that long.

  5. I take my granddaughter whenever a new kids movie comes out that she wants to see. She is in 1st grade so I just make sure it is age and maturity appropriate

  6. My daughter’s almost three and has never been to a movie in a theater, but we take her to kid-friendly movies at the local drive-in. In the car, we can roll up the windows if she gets loud or bed her down in the back seat if she falls asleep.

  7. Multiple times a month. I distinctly remember Finding Dory because both my niece and I cried and I ugly cry.

  8. We are lucky enough to have a discount movie theater in town. So we take our kids one a month or so depending on whether kid friendly movies are there.
