I’ve got a large post coming up in mid-September featuring a number of fantasy RPG gaming aids, and I’ll be covering Fat Dragon Games’ new Kickstarter in a bit more detail in that post. The Kickstarter, however, has already started and there are a number of stretch goals and surprises in store for backers.
The Kickstarter ends on October 11, 2016; the first backer level at $15 will provide some beautiful cobblestone tiles that can be printed and placed to create nice streets for your little towns. At $30, you can get the files to print out timber frame style buildings. At $45, you get the previous rewards plus fieldstone-style buildings, and at $60 you get wooden style buildings. At each backer level, you get all the previous backer level rewards, so $60 gets you all three building styles and the cobblestone street tiles! Even higher backer levels exist, so take a look at all the Kickstarter has to offer. I’m particularly excited about the Windmill add-on for $20 extra… and for $70 extra, you can get the dungeon tile files (including expansion sets and the cavern tiles) from Fat Dragon’s previous Kickstarter.
I’m including some photos below of actual Fat Dragon Games tiles that I printed with my 3D printer… I am completely blown away by the level of detail (these were printed at 100 micron), and I have been anxiously awaiting this Kickstarter since Fat Dragon Games’ owner, Tom Tullis, gave me a sneak peek at the modular buildings at Gen Con 2016.
