‘Voltron’ Season 2 Confirmed!

If you’re at all interested in the new Voltron: Legendary Defender series on Netflix, you may have already heard this news, but the showrunners announced Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con that a second season has been confirmed, to be released later this year.

The panel featured executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery, writer Tim Hedrick, and surprise guest Steven Yeun (the voice of Keith). Sadly, I wasn’t able to be there myself, but GeekDads Jamie Greene and Will James were both there (and Will was even in his Keith cosplay!) and said they got a sneak peek at season two.

I know my family is eagerly anticipating the next season—the first one ends on a big cliffhanger (no spoilers!) and it’s not a big surprise that the show will go on, but it’s great to have official confirmation. We’ll be sure to share more details as we get them!
