You might have seen this amazing video doing the rounds over the weekend, featuring a series of structures known as ‘Ambiguous Cylinders’ that look like circles from one side, but squares from the other.

The video helped its creator Kokichi Sugihara win the best illusion of the year and has got many people wondering how it was made, and if it was even real:
