The original Planet of the Apes (i.e., the best one) is coming back to the big screen! Fathom Events, as part of their yearlong collaboration with Turner Classic Movies, is bringing the classic back to theaters on July 24 and 27. The film is July’s selection for their Big Screen Classics series (which has also featured Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory).
Planet of the Apes will get four showings (2:00 and 7:00 on both 7/24 and 7/27), and you’d be crazy to miss it. To celebrate the event, we’re giving away a pair of tickets (check here to make sure there’s a showing near you) to one lucky winner and SIX other winners will get one of these amazing Gorilla Soldier figures from NECA!
