Otterbox uniVERSE Case: PolarPro Accessories Roundup

Otterbox uniVERSE is the case I’ve been waiting for. As the name implies, there’s a line of universal accessories that allow you to add more functionally to your phone without sacrificing its safety. While on my adventures, with a quick snap, I can attach a tripod, wallet, speaker, power pack, or camera lens all without taking my phone out of its protective casing.

PolarPro has a great line of accessories that add valuable functionality to your phone and without them, I’d be lost when trekking through theme parks or chasing the elusive Pokémon.

The Trippler ($49.99)– Minature tripod to selfie stick. I’ve used this as a tripod during my husband’s performance at a local magic shop and as a stabilizer when taking pictures. My favorite part of this accessory is how it closes up small but packs a mighty punch in what it can do. If you have a GoPro, the Trippler comes with an adapter to use with it as well.

The FishEye ($29.99)– For those moments where you want a different way to capture the fun, the FishEye lens will give you a unique photo with a quick clip.

PowerPack ($49.99)– This little accessory saved my butt and let me keep trying to catch them all as my battery drained at a rapid rate. As battery packs go, it’s a lightweight, but considering the size of the battery it’s not a big surprise. It took my phone from 20% to 75% before it died on me; so it gave me an extra 55% of battery time. Not bad considering it’s size.

Beatpulsar ($59.99) – Remember the days when boom boxes would be carried on shoulders and spit out ’80s hip-hop? Meet it’s modern and smaller little brother. Since it works on Bluetooth, it doesn’t have to be plugged into the case or phone to work. A bonus is that the welcome connection that happens when you turn it on is quiet and brief.

The Stash ($19.99) – I don’t know about you, but my phone is generally worth more than what is in my wallet so it’s always closer at hand. With The Stash accessory, they are one and the same. It’s great for when I don’t want to carry a purse (which is… always). If you’re the adventure type, it lightens your load a bit by letting you carry your emergency cards on you while you trek.

The Trailblazer ($34.99) – This character has two faces. The first and obvious face is the armband for working out. The second (and unofficial) face is a holder on your car visor. Since this is more of a user hack than a recommended thing, you’ll have to test it out to see if it works for you.

When it comes to needing accessories that perform their function without taking up much space, the PolarPro line-up does the job well. My favorite is definitely The Trippler with the PowerPack coming in second. I keep both on me at all times for those moments I want to capture but need a little extra help.

Each of the items is available by itself or, if you want to save around $20, you can get an Otterbox uniVERSE case, the Trippler, PowerPack, and the FishEye in the photography bundle ($149.99)
