Last week Warner Brothers released the logo for the much anticipated Justice League film. Along with the logo, Warner Brothers has released a synopsis for the film:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
The story seems to begin right after the events of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Some members of the press were able to screen scenes that have already been shot. The word is that the tone of Justice League is much lighter than that of Batman V Superman. Warner Brothers hopes to win back some fans as well as families since one of the knocks on the prior films was that they were not exactly family oriented.
Justice League is set to be released in 2017.
