‘Voltron’ and ‘Home’ at DreamWorks Animation

Visiting Voltron and Oh at DreamWorks Animation.

Earlier this week I was invited by Netflix to visit DreamWorks Animation to preview two of its upcoming television series: Voltron: Legendary Defender (June 10) and Home: Adventures with Tip and Oh (July 29). Spoiler alert: it was fantastic!

The bad news: Since the details of the shows themselves are embargoed until closer to the release dates, I can’t give you any details yet about the shows (other than what was already shared when the trailer went live). Instead, I can share a few photos from the trip, and a promise for more about the shows soon!

As you probably know, I was already excited about Voltron before this trip. The visit had a lot of fun Voltron-themed touches, like the color-coded napkins and dessert table at lunch.

And we also got to get pictures with the Voltron standee, a costumed Oh, and this very cool Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon:

The trip coincided with my birthday, so it was just perfect—I got to visit DreamWorks, watch Voltron, and then have an absurd apple-filled donut dessert at dinner. This was the first time I’ve gotten to take a trip like this, and I had a blast. It was also cool meeting a lot of other bloggers and spending the day with them, being immersed in the very amazing worlds that the folks at DreamWorks are creating.

I will say that these are both shows you want to watch for, and I’ll tell you a lot more about them soon!

Disclosure: This trip was provided by Netflix. I am part of the Netflix Stream Team—opinions are my own.
