From the studio and director that brought to life the most successful MMORPG of all time in World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment and director Jeff Kaplan’s foray into the FPS genre has resulted in one of the most anticipated games in recent memory. Overwatch is everything you love about a first person shooter but with the story and character development you’d expect from a role playing game. Create characters that aren’t generic fighting classes but actual individuals with backstories (and comics!) that people care about, and you build a loyal fan base that is hungry for swag to show off their allegiance to their favorite character.
Just in time for the release, J!NX’s acquisition of the Overwatch license complements its current catalog of products from Blizzard Entertainment’s many fan-favorite franchises, including Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft II, Diablo III and World of Warcraft. J!NX also plans to release additional Overwatch gear following the game’s official launch on May 24.
I own a lot of geek clothing, and nothing has sparked more conversations than this Overwatch hoodie. The day that it arrived, I wore it to the local pizza place, and as we were waiting on our food, the delivery guy walked by with his bag, stopped, did a double take, came back, and asked, “Is that an Overwatch sweatshirt?! That is awesome!” From people at work to strangers on the elevator, I’ve said “J!nx” more times in the past three days than a 90s kid hanging out all day with Fred and George Weasley.
Thankfully, it’s also a quality piece of clothing in its own right. I would call it a slim fit, so if you like your hoodies large, you might want to order a size up. One of my biggest annoyances with hoodies is when the hood barely reaches your forehead, followed only slightly by the ones that make you look like one of the Nazgul. The hood on this jacket is a decent size, although I would prefer it a little deeper. The t-shirt is your standard cotton T, again with a slightly slimmer fit than some other size Mediums. (See my way more fit than I teenage son above.) The hat is a nice heavy snapback with a flat brim and has so far survived multiple resizings as the boys passed it back and forth.

I received this hoodie, t-shirt, and hat from J!nx for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
