This weekend, Wizard World will set up camp in Philadelphia, and if you’re a Marvel fan (particularly an MCU fan), then you will not want to miss this show. Wizard World conventions are primarily known for the star power they bring to the guest lineup, and this year’s Philadelphia event is certainly no exception. Just take a look at the lineup above (and below). That’s just a fraction of who will be in attendance.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe can geek out with:
- Chris Evans (Captain America)
- Chris Hemsworth (Thor)
- Tom Hiddleston (Loki)
- Anthony Mackie (Falcon)
- Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes)
- Hayley Atwell (Agent Peggy Carter)

- Stanley Tucci (Dr. Abraham Erskine)
- Georges St-Pierre (Georges Batroc)
But don’t let this lineup overshadow the show’s other phenomenal A-list guests: Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, David Duchovny, John Cena, Stephen Amell, Billy Boyd, Lea Thompson, Mitch Pileggi, and Bob Gale. And that’s all on top of dozens of other celebrity guests and comic book creators.
The show runs from Thursday to Sunday, June 2-5. Single-day tickets range from $35-55 (in advance), and 4-day tickets are $89.95 (again, in advance). Children 2-10 are free with a paying adult.
As has become standard at these show, photos and autographs for almost all guests are available (for an additional fee). Prices range and lines can be long, so it’s best to decide in advance who you really want. And if you’re wondering, yes, there are all manner of group photos available – many of which are already sold out or require a VIP ticket. For example, for the princely sum of $400, you could have a photo with Chris Evans and either Chris Hemsworth or Tom Hiddleston (both sold out). All three? VIP only, I’m afraid.
Fear not, though, fans! Single photos and autographs for almost all guests are still available, if that’s your thing.
