Fandom just released an exclusive video with cast interviews and new clips from AMC’s newest show, Preacher.
Not only does the video give us more information about the backstory and motivations of the television versions of Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy, but we get to hear the actors with and without their accents, which I always love. We also get to see some never before seen footage from the show itself as well as interviewes with the producers, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
Up until now, we’ve not seen or heard anything about Jesse’s “powers,” but there are a couple of quick sneak peeks in this video. Still no specific mention of Cassidy’s abilities (though they do mention he’s really old). Sorry for the vagueness for those of you who are existing Preacher fans but since AMC has been tight lipped on this stuff, I’m trying to avoid spoilers.
Preacher is, as fans know, anything but a family-friendly show. If that wasn’t already obvious, the clip of Tulip taking someone out with a cob of corn (how awesome is Ruth Negga as Tulip?) should remove any doubts.
