Today, Blizzard Entertainment, purveyors of fine video games, announced that those who pre-purchase Overwatch, the company’s first foray into the team shooter genre, will get early access to the game’s open beta for themselves and a friend beginning on Tuesday, May 3, with open beta for all running from Thursday, May 5 through Monday, May 9.
The street date for the game proper is set for Tuesday, May 24. You can guess how many of the GeekDad crew are planning to spend their Memorial Day weekend now? In fact, I believe I smell a very special Memorial Day livestream on the grill.
