WizardWorldPortland-LogoWizard World Comic Con Portland is now just a week away (February 19-21), and I can’t wait to attend. This will be my first Wizard World convention.

WizardWorldPortland-CosplayWizard World Comic Con Portland brings it all–movies, comics, toys, gaming, TV, horror, wrestling, MMA, original art, collectibles, anime, manga and more!

And this year the debut of Wizard World Gaming will also be at Wizard World Comic Con Portland. Wizard World Gaming will feature a bunch of great video gaming exhibits, tournaments and special guests. The full schedule for gaming can be found here.

DragonCon-WJSpikeThere also promises to be tons of great cosplay at the con. I’ll be breaking out one of my older cosplays (Spike from Cowboy Bebop). I’d love to try a new cosplay, but I won’t have everything ready in time. There are even going to be a bunch of great cosplay panels (including one with our friends from Punished Props, the big cosplay contest on Saturday night, and even a kids’ cosplay contest on Sunday afternoon.

WizardWorldPortland-JJThere are also going to be a ton of great guests in attendance–William Shatner for the Trekkies, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Alex Kingston, and Arthur Darvill for all the Whovians, and, my personal favorites, Krysten Ritter and Mike Coulter from Jessica Jones! There are also going to be plenty of comic book creators in attendance. Check out the site for the full guest list.

Tickets are still available ($79.97 for a full three-day pass or between $39.95 and $49.95 for single day passes) if you still want to attend. Check out the full schedule of programming and events to plan your con.
