Hot on the heels of the news of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, we’re about to get yet another LEGO Star Wars show. But this time, it’ll feature a lot of familiar faces.
Including Captain Phasma, because it’s a carved-in-stone fact that we all need more Phasma in our lives.
LEGO Star Wars: The Resistance Rises will premiere on Disney XD on Monday, February 18, at 8:00 pm EST – immediately after the final episode of Gravity Falls.
The Resistance Rises will be a short-form series that takes place prior to the First Order’s attack on Jakku. It’ll tell original stories and feature Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Finn, Rey, BB-8, Maz Kanata, and more.
The first episode – titled “Poe to the Rescue” – will follow Poe Dameron as he comes to the aid of Admiral Ackbar, who is being held captive by Captain Phasma. Kylo Ren, C-3PO, and BB-8 will also appear.
Here’s your first clip. Despite what it sounds like, I’ve been told Gwendoline Christie and Adam Driver are not reprising their roles. So kudos to the actors who did such a great job.
