What’s better than finding some good quality family entertainment? Finding it available for free! That’s what will happen beginning March 3, 2016, when Google Play exclusively debuts BLING, an animated superhero adventure available entirely for free before it hits theaters. If you were like me and hadn’t heard of the movie before, check out the trailer below to see what you and your kids have to look forward to.

In BLING, Sam has big plans to propose to the girl of his dreams, but silly little things like stopping a supervillain and saving the city keep getting in the way. As an accident-prone amusement park mechanic, Sam must rely on his robot pals and his big dreams to overcome all kinds of obstacles in this fun, family-friendly feature. Starring the voice talents of Taylor Kitsch, Carla Gugino, James Woods, Jon Heder, and more, BLING is written by the same folks who brought us another fun animated kids film, Alpha and Omega. We have yet to review the film, but with a promising enough trailer and promo materials with the phrase “it’s not about the size of the bling, but the size of your heart” I remain hopeful.

It’s nice to see Google Play’s family-friendly discovery experience offering up some quality options that are age-appropriate and still fun. Be sure to mark your calendars for March 3, however, as BLING is only available for free until April 10, 2016!

    1. Watching it now, I literally just Googled “bling+monkey+psychonauts” and found your comment. Lol, I knew I wasn’t alone.

Sidenote: Can’t wait to play Psychonauts 2!

  1. omg…less than 5 minutes into this I turned it off. Didn’t even make it past the credits. Rubbish.
