This week, we continue our look at the top sci-fi films of 2015, rating those movies released between July 1 and December 31. Hopefully, I didn’t miss any.

The top two winners from this week will take on the winner from last week–Ex Machina and Mad Max: Fury Road, in next week’s championship round.

Last Week’s Results

Last week really wasn’t even close. Ex Machina with 131 votes ran away with it at 49%. The second place movie, Mad Max: Fury Road, got barely over half that many with 70 votes for 26%.

Third place went to Avengers: Age of Ultron, which pulled in 25 votes for 9%. The highest-grossing film of 2015, Jurassic World, only got 6% with 17 votes. Chappie got 10 votes for 4%, while the highly anticipated Tomorrowland got only 6 votes, or 2%. Jupiter Ascending was one vote behind with 5 (but also 2%), while both Insurgent and Hot Tub Time Machine 2 each got 2 votes for 1%. And then there was poor Project Almanac, which no one seemed to like.
