Telltale Games, along with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment, just announced a new game series coming out next year based on Batman.
While the full details and title of the game have not yet been released, it definitely sounds like the player will be in the role of Batman. The game promises to explore “what it means to be Batman” and the duality of Wayne and Batman.
Telltale has a great, proven track record so far with Game of Thrones, The Wolf Among Us, Minecraft: Story Mode, and, probably most notable, The Walking Dead. As much as I like the Batman: Arkham series, I’m more excited about the Telltale version of Batman. They have done a really great job of delving into the minds of characters and making a much more mental game which will be a nice break from what Batman games have been historically.
