For me, one of the best things about owning the Amazon Echo is the steady stream of new features that the development team continues to roll out for the device. This takes many forms; sometimes it’s as simple as adding more content sources for existing features, while other times it’s increased cross-functionality with additional smart devices.
This week, however, the Echo‘s helpful voice assistant, Alexa, is talking about the same thing as everyone else: Star Wars.
Yes, Alexa now has access to Star Wars jokes, quotes, facts, and trivia. She’ll even take part in some witty banter, providing you give her the right prompt–my personal favorites being “Alexa, aren’t you a little short for a Stormtrooper?” and “Alexa, execute order 66!”
She can even deliver a correct (if diplomatic) answer to the most important question of all: “Alexa, what is the best Star Wars movie?”
