I recently wrote about the 2015 Children’s Game Print and Play Design Contest over on BoardGameGeek. There are only four days of voting left and with 25 games available, that is a lot of printing and playing to be had, but, hopefully, you have a long weekend in front of you with your family. What better way to spend it than playing free, original, made for kids games?
I’m sorry to say that I haven’t yet had a chance to try out any of the games yet, and there aren’t many geared towards my son’s age (two), but I do intend to try to get at least a couple in this weekend–Raindrops and Tiny Garden Growers stand out as two that look age appropriate. There is a wide variety of games to choose from–strategy, luck, dexterity, counting, colors, matching–so you’re sure to find something for your kids, regardless of age or skill level.
