RiffTrax Live! Miami Connection – Tonight!

By now if you have been a fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000, you already know about RiffTrax. Well this year, the guys at RiffTrax have been putting on a quarterly live show that is known as “The Crappening“. So far this year, they have riffed live in theaters Sharknado 2 and The Room. I have been to see both of these this year and they do not disappoint. The movies themselves are disappointing but the RiffTrax crew makes them a joy to watch.

Tonight, October 1, 2015, the live showing of RiffTrax Live! Miami Connection will take place in Nashville, Tennessee. This showing is also simulcast to almost all theaters, about 700 of them, which have Fathom Events. Miami Connection is a 1987 film about a martial arts rock band that goes up against a band of motorcycle ninjas who have tightened their grip on Florida’s narcotics trade. How awesome does that sound?

Can’t make it tonight? No problem, they will have an encore showing at Fathom Event theaters on October 6. Finally, the last movie in the 2015 Crappening will be held on December 3rd and will be Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny.
