Gloom (2nd Edition)

We believe that few things are as enjoyable as sitting around the living room floor, playing a game with your family. Each week, in the ‘Game of the Week’ column, GeekDad will suggest a fun, family-friendly game everyone can enjoy while spending time with each other. Here’s this week’s pick:

Gloom (2nd Edition)

Gloom is a great storytelling card game where the object is to make your family the most miserable. Gloom is our favorite game at our house. My wife and I often play it together, and we always try to get friends involved. One of the cool, unique features of the game are the transparent cards. Cards stack on your characters to modify their miserableness before their untimely deaths. Gloom is so much fun and great for creative storytelling.
