5 Edgar Allan Poe Stories Are Set to Spook You in ‘Extraordinary Tales’

Movies

Just in time for Halloween, Extraordinary Tales finds its way into limited theater release and on demand video this weekend. The animated film features five Edgar Allan Poe stories, each told in a unique animation style. Additionally, the movie features some of the best voice acting in horror history, including Sir Christopher Lee, who narrates The House of Usher in his final film role, a Bela Lugosi recording guiltily reveals all in The Tell Tale Heart, Julian Sands takes us on a horrifying journey of The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar, Roger Corman who has the single line of dialogue in the decadent and deadly The Masque of the Red Death, and Guillermo del Toro guides us through the realistically animated The Pit and the Pendulum. It’s a spooky and enjoyable romp, perfect for the family (but probably not younger kids), featuring with talented voices and wonderful animation. Look for it!
