The truth is still out there, and this January, X-Files fanatics like myself will have the opportunity to dive back into the intrigue and conspiracy when Mulder and Scully make their return to primetime. In the first look at the six-episode event, FOX teases thirty seconds which hint the series return may play into some very real and current events. In this, the day and age of Edward Snowden and drone warfare, I’m more than intrigued to see how show-runner Chris Carter tackles these real-life intrusions from a genuinely a sci-fi perspective.
The band is back together, including the Smoking Man and Skinner! Stay tuned for The X-Files return during a special two-night event beginning Sunday, Jan. 24 (10:00-11:00 PM ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT), and continuing in its normal time-slot on Monday, Jan. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).
