New Nintendo 3DS Bundle Announced

Entertainment Videogames

new 3ds ac bundleOk, so I was wrong. Apparently we are getting the smaller, sexier New Nintendo 3DS here in the States. Sort of.

The New 3DS was announced yesterday at the GameStop Managers Convention, but only as part of a special bundle. Said bundle includes a white New Nintendo 3DS system, a downloadable copy of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, two Animal Crossing cover plates, and one amiibo card. With an MSRP of $219.99, it’s not a bad deal for those who have yet to upgrade to the newer 3DS model and were already planning to purchase HHD.

The catch? Well, it’s currently only available for pre-order via GameStop. Whether it will be made available through other retailer (or if the system itself is eventually released as a stand-alone SKU) still remains to be seen.

  1. One, it took them long enough, but two, by this point I had the New XL for nearly a year, so I’m going to have to fork out more money for a system that I really wanted originally, and with a game I already have reserved as a physical copy? Nothing like milking Animal Crossing/Nintendo fans there Nintendo!! Seems like they could have released this before now. Oh well, better late than never I guess, but oh, my wallet!!!
