PAX Prime 2015 First Impressions

Events Videogames

DSC_0191PAX Prime is always a great experience. When we can get tickets, it’s my family’s last hoorah before the school year starts. There is so much to do, one could never do much more than scratch the surface. We spent most of day one getting our bearings, but we also got in some excellent experiences. we tried out new games, perused geek merch, checked out the cosplay, and basically just had a great time. We left with a long list of things to look into for the rest of our weekend. Friday, many of the lines were short so we tried some AAA games as well as stopped off at many indie game booths. My kid’s favorite was, Playsets, a simple multi-participant virtual play mat and miniatures tool by Playsets Team LLC.

We have three more days of PAX awesomeness ahead of us and will post more in the future. To see more pictures, check out my Flickr PAX album, and follow me on Twitter for some updates throughout the convention.
