Activision Drops Gameplay Trailer for 'Transformers: Devastation'

TFDevastation-MainActivision released a new gameplay trailer at Comic-Con International for the upcoming Transformers: Devastation. It’s enough to make any Transformers fan drool in anticipation.

Transformers: Devastation appears to be the game I never knew I always wanted. The game is a third-person action-brawler, and while I don’t expect any in-depth story line, the cell-shaded gameplay and soundtrack promise to make this feel as much like you’re in the cartoon as possible. All the bots look amazing and the soundtrack, while being updated and modern, really elicits that feel of the Transformers: The Movie soundtrack.

As a long time Transformers and video game geek, Transformers: Devastation just became my number one wanted game of the year. The game will be available on PC, as well as current and last gen Xbox and PS.

  1. Sorry for the semi-non-related rant, but for a geek site your website works terribly on mobile*. I say this as a long-time fan from back when geekdad and geekmom were on Wired.

    * formatting is off, commenting doesn’t work at all, and the embedded youtube videos never play. This is on an iPhone 5S, mobile Safari, running iOS 8.4.

    1. That sucks! Thanks for the feedback. I sent it off to our admins and they are actively working on it. Seems to be an iOS specific issue as it works fine on Android devices. We’ll keep at it and hopefully get it working properly soon!

      And thanks for reading!
