Sorry, but this appears to be a terrible idea.
It only works if I leave my iPhone or other iDevice at the grill. I wouldn’t want to leave my phone at the grill while I walk away from the grill to do other things, and I in any case, I wouldn’t want to leave my device that close to a heat source like an oven or a grill.
Did I misunderstand the functionality?
