I’m a longtime fan of the Star Wars radio dramas, and attending the one-off live performance of the audio play Smuggler’s Gambit was one of my favorite things about Star Wars Celebration VI back in 2012. (Missed it? It’s still available as an mp3 on StarWars.com. Go check it out.)

I was unable to make it to Star Wars Celebration Anaheim this year to catch the sequel, Smuggler’s Bounty–penned again by Kyle Newman and F.J. DeSanto–but a video of the performance is up on StarWars.com. It’s just as fun as the last one, and brings back several familiar performers from the Star Wars cartoon universe: Tom Kane, Dee Bradley Baker, Jaime King, and Catherine Taber, as well as David Collins, who returns to center stage as Han Solo.

And in true Star Wars fashion, this project will become a trilogy: Smuggler’s Revenge is in the works.
