GeekDad Day

How are you celebrating Father’s Day this year?

Whenever I get to choose how I want to spend a day, you know that playing games is near the top of my list. This year, I happen to be headed to Seattle while my family is traveling for a vacation, so I’ll get my wish!

Fellow GeekDad Will James and I are renting out the Apothecary Room at the Mox Boarding House (you may have seen it in the Kickstarter video for Apocrypha). If you’re in the area, please come by and join us for a game or two! You might get to try a prototype for an upcoming Kickstarter, an early copy of a yet-to-be-released game, or just one of our old favorites.

Here are the details: Father’s Day–Sunday, June 21, 2015, 11am-4pm. The Mox Boarding House is a game store and cafe, located at 13310 Bel-Red Road in Bellevue, Washington. The Apothecary just has room for 10 and I don’t have any idea how many people to expect, but there is more gaming space in the cafe as well, plus you can browse the games while you’re there. I’ve actually never been there myself, but I’ve had friends recommend it so I’m excited to give it a shot.

Hope to see you there! Have a happy GeekDad’s Day!
