Dice Section - Pathfinder Adventure Card Game

The Dice Section is a podcast about games–tabletop, video, whatever–and what makes them great. My co-host, Dave Kirby, and I get together and talk about what we’ve been playing and why. We try to go in-depth with the games we love and explain what’s so special about them, how they fit in with our own personal day-to-day stories, and why we keep coming back to the table to play more.

In this episode, we check out the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. It was a first for us: a game that made us step away from the table after playing for a day so we could arrange our thoughts. GeekDad Jonathan Liu reviewed it extensively when it came out in 2013, and it made his game of the year, so it has a reputation around these parts. Listen in to see whether we agree with that reputation.

Meanwhile, Dave and I talk about race cars, spring break for parents, and having a sense of humor about Kickstarter.
