New ‘Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens’ 2nd Teaser Drops

Today is the first day of Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, the massive convention for fans of anything and everything Star Wars. (Yes, that includes the prequels and the Holiday Special.)

To kick things off, J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy hosted a panel for Episode VII: The Force Awakens, which saw a line stretching around the convention center as early as lunchtime yesterday. (Waiting overnight for Star Wars is almost de rigueur at this point.)

In a move of unparalleled class, Abrams and Kennedy bought pizza for the 1,500 people in line this morning. That’s class … with extra pepperoni.

For the first time in Celebration history (this is the seventh one in the U.S.), 30 hours of panels, interviews, and events straight from the show will be live-streaming online at Starwars.com. If that’s not enough to play hooky, tune in, and be incredibly non-productive with the rest of us, then I don’t know what is.
