‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Spinoff – West Coast Avengers?

According to Deadline Hollywood, Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood will be headlining the new Agents of SH.I.E.L.D. spinoff. Agents of SH.I.E.L.D. has been a great addition to the MCU on the small screen, and adding more shows to the small screen is a great way to keep expanding the MCU

When I heard that Mockingbird would be joining the cast of Agents of SH.I.E.L.D. I could barely contain my excitement. We have Ultron, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and the Vision joining Hawkeye in Age of Ultron. We have Hank Pym and Ant-Man on their way. I am dreaming that this spinoff show will be the beginning of what will become West Coast Avengers, or Avengers West Coast!

As I mentioned in an earlier post, West Coast Avengers was the first superhero comic I started collecting and I will always love that team. OK, so maybe it isn’t realistic to believe they’ll make an Avengers TV show, but I am hopeful that Hawkeye will at least show up. With Lady Sif and Nick Fury both making appearances on Agents of SH.I.E.L.D., I don’t think a Hawkeye-Mockingbird-Hunter love triangle/throw-down is that out of the picture. Who knows, maybe they’ll even lay some ground work for the Skrull invasion.

Either way, I can’t wait to see the new show and more of Mockingbird. I’ve always loved the character, and I think Adrianne Palicki is doing a great job of portraying her on the screen.
